A weekend in the German Eifel at Haus BuylBergh, just across the Belgian border, that will make you feel totally relaxed on a physical and mental level.
Our Health & Wellbeing Weekends will nourish you from the inside out with physical practices and organic food, and from the outside in through nature, fresh air and good people. This weekend is all about relaxation and vitality. These are the primary aspects contributing to a long and healthy life.
As the Taoists say: “Prevention from disease by living in harmony with nature and taking care of balance in the body is the secret for longevity.”
Together we will take a deeper look at our current lifestyle. In the lectures, with enough space for questions, we will bring more clarity on living an healthy lifestyle and how we can integrate it into our lives on a daily basis. Furthermore, we will experience this aspect profoundly by the exceptional care of our chefs who will cook fresh, local and organic meals based on orthomolecular principles.
Breathing and Movement form another essential part to revitalize our body and mind. During this weekend we will introduce you to Stretch & Release, Yoga Nidra, Basics of Taiji and Breathing Exercises.
Basic Hands of Taiji
The Basic Hands are simple, but efficient coordination exercises based on Chinese Medicine. The exercises are done while standing to train our body to become stronger and increase our body awareness. It teaches us to find relaxation in movement and gives a vitality boost though energetic circulation.
Stretch & Release
The ever-increasing stress factors of our modern lives bring a lot of unnecessary muscular tension. During this classes we will take our time to let go of these tensions making use of a specific stretching method.
In Yoga Nidra we’re lying motionless on the floor. The teacher will guide you through a deep relaxation for body and mind. It’s a powerful technique in which you can learn to relax consciously.
After this weekend you will feel more relaxed, energized, more flexible and probably you will sleep better. All levels of practitioners are welcome!
Also, you will find time to wander in the beautiful surroundings of Haus BuylBergh to read or to just do nothing at all. You will enjoy nature, great healthy food and some likeminded company!
